Bill Cosby got it wrong. His many speeches regarding the plight of poor blacks in this country and their lack of personal responsibility, were not only off the mark, but completely irresponsible.
Cosby failed to take into account many mitigating factors, in what became his regular rants about poor blacks in this country. For example, the last of the civil rights laws was passed in 1965, so it’s been forty years since the physical signs of government sanctioned racism have been in place. Please explain to me how, in forty years, we are to undo centuries of terror and government sponsored segregation, emasculation and murder? While I don’t believe blaming the white man for your problems is the answer, neither is preaching to a roomful of upwardly mobile blacks who are probably doing nothing to help those who are less fortunate then they. Poverty is a hard cycle to break; especially if you’re black and suffer a history where, in the not to distance past, if you dared to assert yourself as an entrepreneurial, educated person you could find yourself hanging from a tree. This is a country that used to burn blacks alive for fun; that not to long ago raped a man with a broom handle and two years ago sent a young black boy to prison for having sex with a white girl. This is a country where there are several states that have never sent a white man to death row for killing a black man but routinely send black men to death row for killing white men. And let’s not forget what the state of Illinois found when they investigated their death row system. In his rants, Cosby failed to mention the sorry state of education in many of the poor neighborhoods in this country. What about elementary schools that graduate students that don’t know how to read? How about a high school system that offers classes that are useless for entrance into college? Or where kids graduate and haven’t taken a single algebra class? High school is supposed to prepare students for college, regardless of whether the teachers or administrators believe the students are capable of a college education. You can be a very responsible person but if you aren’t given the proper building blocks for success then that responsibility may not get you anywhere.
Instead of pointing out to poor people all they are doing wrong, Bill Cosby should take his time and give advice on what they can do right, what they can do to better their lives and the lives of their children. No one ever rose out of poverty because they were constantly reminded of how poor, useless and lazy they are. Instead of pointing fingers we should all offer a helping hand.

There are loads of helpful advantages to wall-hanging a flat panel TV, like that of freeing up ground or desk space, although for individuals the principal advantage is entirely visual - because lets face it, a wall-attached TV comes across very tasteful. And the attractiveness of wall mounting telly is that any individual with even the simplest “Do It Yourself” (DIY) knowledge can carry it out successfully.
Procuring a television bracket, the beginning action is to obtain the exact bracket for your television. There is an extensive quantity of brackets to plump from, catering for Plasma televisions of all shapes, sizes & weights, so it is imperative that you make sure you’re equipped with your television set’s main info prior to setting off to the TV shops. Plus before purchasing, think about what sort of suppleness you may well need after the telly is fixed, as varying classes of LCD television brackets present differing amounts of lateral and vertical movement.
Rigid brackets keep the television close to the wall, & do not allow you to vary the horizontal or vertical direction. Their lack of difficulty frequently means that they are the most cheapest decision, but it can be fiddly to access rear-hanged sockets.
Tilt brackets, however, let you to tilt the telly screen up or down to adjust the vertical viewing position, where as ’tilt & swivel’ television brackets let you tilt the screen forward and revolve it from side to side.

Standards have changed. Not so long ago, people marveled at the radio broadcasts that were transmitted into their homes. As televisions became popular, people were generally content with whatever image was beamed into their world.Picture quality has evolved over the ages for the better. An luckily for us, in line with the introduction of other technologies, HDTV has ushered in another new age. Gone are the days when you could be happy with washed-out colors and a low resolution. Now you want a clearer picture and sharper colors, and you want it all for an affordable price.
HDTV is the pinnacle of TV technology.A standard television gives you a clear color picture. HDTV gives you an even sharper picture. Picture it this way, watching a standard TV is like viewing the world through a dirty windowpane. With HDTV, there is no window. The images on the television screen are as close to lifelike as you can get, that is, without actually getting off the couch and watching real-life images. An HDTV can accomplish this feat with its high resolution; a million pixels, often more, combine to create a brilliant picture that will wow any viewer.
But technology always comes at a price. Fortunately, prices are falling every year. Five years ago, most people were priced out of the HDTV market.
However, you need to be aware of a few facts. Owning an HDTV does not guarantee you the whole high-definition experience.First, you will need a high-definition cable or satellite box. This sends the HD channels to your television; without one, you can only watch standard programming. Second, you will need high-def channels. Your cable or satellite provider offers a line-up of HD channels, though the number of available HD channels is nowhere close the number of available standard channels. Third, you will need an HD show or movie. Not all shows broadcast on an HD station are necessarily high-definition; news programs are often broadcast in standard-definition, as are most daytime programs. If you are watching a standard-def show, you may see a black bar on either side of the screen. Also, since you are watching a standard-def show on a high-def screen, the picture will not be nearly as clear or as sharp as with an HD program. Only when you have all three elements - an HD box, channel and show - can you experience television like never before.

Do you remember when gaming laptops were a specialist item? The notebooks were sold in insignificant qty’s but each systems had a high profit margin. They were the style of notebook computer that everybody desired, however the cost did not fall in their price range. Plainly being so advanced they were the best laptops in relation to performance. Laptops for gaming would get everyone excited about what’s to released in a few years however I do not think they would buy laptops like this whilst be wary that the price is going to slip quickly. Things seem set to shift though because now the gaming portables market has caught the eye of bigger manufacturers.
These are certainly high margin notebook computers for the large manufacturers and they are aware of it. With such thin margins on other laptops it is no surprise they want to be involved. I’m pretty sure that numerous people would buy laptops if mass marketed by these large manufacturers. I wonder whether this would be the demise of littler resellers? I’m fairly confident that the multinational manufacturers will attempt to push the little ones out. In my opinion if anybodies going to spend a lot of cash the established brand always comes out on top.
To my surprise the brand name gaming laptops are as good or even better than the best laptops available to buy. In my opinion though, this is in fact a source of hope for the local guys in retail. Being able to purchase exactly what parts they desire is a major advantage for most potential customers who are thinking of purchasing a gaming laptop computer. Normally lots of comparisons of the specs will be carried out and the techies can decide what the superior portable actually is. Sometimes the components hold more importance when compared to the aesthetics for these sort of people.
From a customers standpoint this is all a positive thing. This should continue to make the premium technology even more obtainable for the consumer. I predict that with a high degree of doubt though. Prices will probably stay consistently high because there are always new laptops being launched. Seeing as the big brand companies have already begun pushing gaming laptops, I reckon we’ll have to wait to see what develops.
This company (http://www.rizeon.com) is providing a few excellent gaming systems at very cheap prices.
