Can Newbies Repair Their Search Engine Listing?

Posted in Political Stuff

So, you got a big surprise last night, didn’t you? You went
to search for your Website and it wasn’t there anymore!
Where did it go? Did you have to use double quotes just to
find it? Not a pleasant feeling, I bet!

Let’s face it: having your website de-listed or sent all the
way back to the start of the line isn’t a joking matter! All
those months of hard work just gone down the drain! Poof !!

Is there a way out of this seemingly mortal blow to your
website; can you repair your Search Engine Listing? Yes
there is!
If your mistake was one of the dumb mistakes we all make on
account of lack of experience, there is a solution.

Don’t think the Search Engines are stone monoliths; you can
talk to them! However, the first thing you have to do is be
calm and deliberate your next moves as you repair the damage
to your Search Engine listing.

Here are some pointers to look for the source of your Search
Engine troubles:

(a) Go back to the nearest specific date your website was
doing well with the Search Engines.

(b) Think of any changes you’ve done to your Website since
then and make a list.

(c) Have you created any other websites/blogs/message boards
with a very close or identical name?

(d) Have you done any tweaking to your Meta tags or website
content?

(e) Have you used any artificial web page or content
enhancement technology?

Once you revise your list and eliminate any obvious reasons
for trouble, keep on going looking for any others sources of
problems. By all means, do a thorough inspection and don’t
leave a stone unturned. Repair and revise is the thing!

Go back to the basics and do your homework; don’t put too
much stake on much of the (mis)information you find floating
around the Web. You also have to consider that Search Engine
technology is an evolving thing and what worked two years
ago, won’t necessarily work today. Make sure your sources of
information are fresh and relevant.

Here are published guidelines on what some of the big Search
Engines take into consideration for a good listing:

Yahoo:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/deletions/deletions-05.html

With their resent Natural language initiative, it’s clear
Yahoo wants web pages that are very readable. Be careful not
to let “keyword loading” affect the easy readability of your
website.

MSN:
http://beta.search.msn.co.in/docs/siteowner.aspx

Google:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html

Once you’ve done all that you can think of to clean-up your
Website, contact the Search Engines and offer them an
explanation while asking for a review of your Website.

Keep it short and businesslike and ask any pertinent
questions. Consider the SE staff is composed of people just
like you. We all make mistakes! Believe me, they have many
years of experience dealing with Newbies; they can also spot
a slick operator.

You might have to wait some time depending on their schedule for
crawling your neck of the Web. Look at your server logs to
see an average time between SE crawling.

A note of caution:

I don’t see why in the world a Newbie would deal with
technology that artificially enhances web pages. There are
plenty in the market extolling their virtues. I’ve done
research on many of them and consider them only useful in
the hands of an experienced Webmaster.

If you MUST use any of them, build a dummy website to test
all your ideas before you build your dream website. I’ve
heard of folks with much more experience getting their site
banned for using some of the artificial enhancement
technologies.

If you follow the above guides, you will repair your Search
Engine listing. Your Website will return to its former
Search Engine friendly ranking. Keep your eyes open for the
next time and do your best not to make any more mistakes.
Take a deep breath and move on, that much wiser for the
experience.

Hair Loss for Gents Can Be Confidence Destroying

Posted in The Healthy Way

Going bald in boys affects nearly 7 million in the British Isles, the most common kind of hair loss is genetic male pattern baldness. The baldness might start as young as 19 and develop emotional turmoil.

Male pattern baldness is traditionally hereditary and will probably target gents as well as girls. The hair loss appears due to the hair follicles on the scalp getting smaller and the hair dropping out and never regrowing. Hair loss regularly follows a hair loss pattern around the hair line and don’t forget at the middle of your head. If you need help with baldness visit Advanced Hair Studio today.

Losing hair is not a disease and does not directly affect your actual health, although your emotional health will probably become affected through the stress of the loss.

There are 3 eye-opening main treatment methods for loss of hair, Minoxidil, Finasteride and Strand by Strand from Advanced Hair Studio, also known as AHS. The first main hair loss treatment is a topical lotion that is applied on the head and should be bought from hair loss specialist clinics. It works by reducing and slowing down the speed of baldness, simply marvellous. The second treatment Finasteride works through minimising the chain reaction of the baldness hormone. The terrific Strand by Strand hair regrowth technique from Advanced Hair Studio uses the most recent loss of hair technology and involves new hair strands growing on the scalp strand by strand over a short time. With both the Minoxidil and Finasteride treatments they need to be regularly applied and taken for the hair effects to keep working.

Americqa, Jihad is Coming!

Posted in Political Stuff

America, Jihad is Coming!
By nevine Al Seidi |

Friday prayers on the 28th March lasted for hours in all mosques of Cairo ( and all Islamic countries) pushing Arabs for Jihad. Jihad, is fighting in the name of God the enemy of God. The concept of Jihad ( Arabic for Struggle) lies in the belief of the irrelevance of human life next to the interest of the land and the people. Any true Muslim believes in Jihad, be that a member of Al Qaeda, a member of Hizbullah or a member of a football team.
I understand how difficult it is to the Western mind to comprehend the idea of sacrificing your own life for an idea, a belief, or God. In the West, where the culture is about celebrating life and preserving it against all odds and gods, suicide attacks are merely incomprehensible.
Commenting on the Iraqi suicide bomber who lured four American soldiers to his cab handing them a bomb that killed him with them received a typical comment from Capt. Valles. He said: ” I don’t understand what motivated this guy to kill himself. To me, this is not an act of war. It is terrorism.. a man in a civilian vehicle killing himself at a checkpoint”.
Nicknaming Jihad terrorism is very unlikely to make it go away. As long as there is Islam on this globe, Jihad in the name of it will live. No amount of threats, bombs, deprivation, destruction, so-called liberation wars or name-calling will stop it. The only thing that can stop Jihad is to back off from Islamic territory. Trust me on this one!
In Iraq, civilians are inventing ways of taking American and British life. Incredulous of such human sacrifices, both American and British media insist that the Iraqi army fight in civilian attire! The fact is that even women, housewives from villages are fighting the war with the Iraqi army which exceeds 1.5 million persons! You probably have heard of Mayssoon Hameed who shot an enemy tank using an RBJ she never used in her life. She became a national symbol in and outside Iraq. Call her a terrorist if it makes you any happier. Arabs are all Mayssooons, all terrorists to borrow your diction.
The danger that the American forces in Iraq is facing is that they are fighting 26 million Iraqis on their territory that covers desert land, villages and towns and cities. They are not fighting Saddam and his government. Those 26 millions happen to bear the nationality of descendants of the Prophet. In emergency time, they are bound to act as one against the enemy , no matter what sort of differences existed among them.
Iraq has openly invited volunteers to defend Iraq from any and every Arab and Muslim country. Muslims are preparing to go to Iraq . There is a very serious doubt that coalition or conspiracy forces can tighten all borders to stop the trickle of Muslim volunteers into the battlefield.
The most dangerous face of jihad in a time like this uncovers in non-radicals, Christians and other- religion Arabs supporting it, yours truly included. All Arabs agree on one thing today: that a pan-Arabia is the name of the game. And like Victor Hugo says: ” Greater than the tread of mighty armies is an idea whose time has come”.
To worsen the best case scenario, America is bound to lose the war no matter how much destruction it achieves in Iraq. Winning the war means displacing a regime America hates by a regime that does not exist. All those opposition parties that are talking loudly from one European country or another belong to minorities, mainly Kurds. The population of Kurds belonging to various opposition parties are 5 million. Most of the Kurds do not want to rule Iraq, they want to take part of it to call Kurdestan! America will be too naive too see a Kurd ruling Iraq one day. Worse still, the American army is not fighting an army but guerrillas. Those guerrillas are fighting in the name of God, not just Saddam. I can hardly imagine those substituting their belief in God by their belief in the American Jesus who is trying to save them by stealing their oil and distributing contracts to rebuild a country he has not yet conquered but has destroyed himself.
Jihad is coming.. and as Kissinger explains: ” The conventional army loses if does not win. The guerrilla wins if it does not lose”. Bush has introduced a second Middle East crisis to be sure. Iraq is not Afghanistan in any sense.

America’s Dirty Little Secret

Posted in Political Stuff

Hurricane Katrina has, for all intents and purposes, destroyed one of the most wonderful of all our American cities, New Orleans. It has been five days since Katrina hit and the Federal Government has no idea what to do about it. Our wonderfully absent President George Bush said yesterday “we had no idea this would happen” (or some such rubbish). Yet there have been published studies and news reports over the years that predicted exactly this kind of a catastrophic disaster.

One of the most ridiculous recent reports from the news media came on Monday as the storm barreled across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama: “New Orleans dodged a bullet,” the reports said, basing their stories on nothing more than wishful thinking and the fact that the storm moved slightly east just before it hit the Gulf Coast.

To add insult to injury, we now know that the levees that broke on Tuesday turned out to be the newest ones. We also know that the Army Corps of Engineers were removed from the loop by the Bush Administration and the money needed to rebuild and protect New Orleans’ infrastructure was consistently cut from Federal budgets as “just too much pork.” Could it be because Louisiana is a Democratic state with a Democratic Governor? When the crisis reached the Federal Government, Alabama and Mississippi, Republican strongholds, were helped first.
It’s truly an outrage that this country cares nothing for its poorer citizens. And that is our Dirty Little Secret. What do you think keeps companies like Wal-Mart and the fast-food chains in business? The poor.

Believe me, if Martha Stewart or a bunch of Bush family cronies were trapped on the roof of one of their New Orleans mansions they would have been rescued immediately. The fact that New Orleans is 70% African-American and votes Democratic ought to tell you something about how this abhorrent Republican Administration cares about all its citizens. But last Friday when this storm began to pick up strength and head for New Orleans everyone in the government knew what would happen. The news media spent a lot of time telling the country what could happen if a Category 5 hurricane hit. They did this last year during the hurricane season and FEMA has known about it for a long time. So the powers that be have had lots of time to plan for the big one but no one did anything. They are already making excuses and patting themselves on the back for a job well done. They didn’t do anything for four damn days! And where are the Democrats? As usual they are AWOL, as they have been ever since Bush took over five years ago.

And where are the Democrats when Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert has the nerve to say “Maybe New Orleans shouldn’t be rebuilt.” AWOL, as usual.

The Pentagon is upset because reporters who are on the scene have more sympathy for the victims than they do for the government. It’s not surprising … they are actually there, unlike the politicians and the rest of this pathetic excuse for a representative government. I heard Bush had Air Force One buzz the scene yesterday so he could get a look at the devastation. A real President would find a way to shoulder some of the burden the people he represents are experiencing by landing the fucking plane somewhere and helping with the relief effort.

This terrible tragedy has the chance of becoming a watershed moment in our country’s political history. The poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer and this disaster shows the true extent of the gulf between the two. Finally we are able to see how the government reacts when there is no enemy to fight but nature itself and a bunch of poor black people who couldn’t afford to put gas in their cars so they could leave (if they had cars), are the victims. It’s hard to make political points or spin the story in a situation as horrifying as this, but the Government hacks are already trying.

Maybe if we had not sent all the Louisiana National Guard troops to fight in Iraq, things would be different. Maybe if the state and Federal Government had listened to the predictions of what would happen when a Category 5 hurricane hit New Orleans, things would be different. Maybe if the smug, self-satisfied, Administration toadies who rant and rave about the “sanctity of life” actually believed it, things would be different.

Maybes don’t mean much now but it’s pretty obvious a change has got to come in how this country treats its poorest citizens.

Finally our Dirty Little Secret has been revealed in front of the whole nation and it’s now become the big, fat, elephant in the room.

Too bad it’s too little, too late, for thousands of people caught in this horrendous, but very possibly preventable, disaster.

Against Gnosticism: Why the Gnostic Christians were not Chr

Posted in Political Stuff

In early Christianity there were many alternative views that claimed to have authority over one another. Hundreds of rival teachers all claimed to teach the “true doctrine of Christ” and denounced all others as frauds. All claimed to represent “the authentic tradition”. Jesus himself was the only authority they all recognized.1 One of these alternative views was Gnostic Christianity, which gained popularity in the second century.
The term Gnosticism comes from the Greek word gnosis, meaning ‘knowledge’. This knowledge is knowledge of participation, knowledge of union and salvation. It is existential knowledge in contrast to scientific knowledge.2 Gnosticism was influenced by Oriental dualism and Greek philosophies. In this dualism the Gnostics believed that the creation of the world was bad and that its creator, Yahweh, the Old Testament God of the Jews, was an evil being. The God of Gnostic Christianity was a benevolent and loving being, superior over Yahweh.3 This God was God the Father, Jesus’ Father, the “real” God. Paul Tillich said that Gnosis is used in three ways: as knowledge in general terms; as mystical communion; as sexual intercourse.4 This article will be concerned with the second as it applies to the Resurrection.

The theory that Jesus rose from the dead is the fundamental element of the Christian faith. The idea that this event occurred in one unique historical moment is a central theme to the orthodox position. What makes this so ordinary is not the claim that Jesus’ friends had seen him after his death, but that they saw a human being. The orthodox position states that as Christ rose bodily from the grave, so every believer should anticipate the resurrection of the flesh. 4 Some New Testament accounts insist on this literal view of the resurrection and the orthodoxy of the second century insisted on it as well, rejecting all others as heretical. Luke 24:34 states that “the Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon Peter!” Whatever the truth of this claim, in all honesty we can’t verify or disprove it on simply historical grounds - we were not there to see it happen. All we can say is that Peter claimed that the resurrection happened and generations after him continued to believe him, and still do.

For the Gnostic Christian, however, the person who experiences the resurrection does not meet Jesus raised back to life in physical form. He encounters Christ on a spiritual level, such as dreams, ecstatic trances, visions, and spiritual illumination. 5 The Gnostic Christian rejected Luke’s theory. According to them, the literal view of the resurrection was argued to have occurred in the past and because of this it was called the “faith of fools”. 6 The Gnostics insisted that the resurrection symbolized how Christ’s presence could be experienced in the present. To them, it was not literal seeing that mattered; rather, it was spiritual vision. This spiritual vision of the resurrection, in whatever form it took, was the moment of enlightenment - a person could be “resurrected from the dead” right now. Christians could “receive the resurrection while they live”. 7 Gnostics believed that taking the literal view was ignorant.

What interested these Gnostics far more than past events attributed to the “historical Jesus” was the possibility of encountering the risen Christ in the present. They alleged that the risen Christ continued to reveal himself to certain disciples, representing how Christ’s presence could be experienced individually in the present moment. For Christians who wanted to know and experience Christ now, in there own individual present moment, this belief probably seemed like a quick fix. But I beg to differ.

It may be true that Christ’s resurrection is central to Christianity, but I want to take it further and say, putting our faith in the occurrence of the resurrection is actually more central that simply stating it happened. Anyone is capable of saying it happened; not everyone is capable of believing it happened. There is significant difference between the two. One requires faith, the other doesn’t. Here is where I believe the Gnostics should not be considered Christian. In truth, we were not there two thousand years ago to see the resurrected Christ; the reality of the issue says that we honestly do not know if the event occurred or not. But isn’t this what our faith is all about, believing in something not seen? This is why the Christian faith is so beautiful. The mystery of it gives us hope of salvation and eternal paradise. The Gnostic Christians were adamant about experiencing Christ’s resurrection in the present moment, as opposed to relying on the belief that it happened in the past, a belief that requires the central theme of Christianity: Faith. If a person experiences something in the present moment, they don’t need to have faith that it happened because they were there to experience it. If the Gnostics did not need faith, then I argue against their Christianity, for they did not find use for the essential driving force behind a Christian’s whole existence. I believe that the proof of their heresy lies in the fact that Christian Orthodoxy, despite its evolution into many different denominations and doctrines, is still practiced by millions of people, whereas Gnosticism died out long ago. Although people in the modern world did not witness Christ’s bodily resurrection they still, two thousand years later, put their faith in the hope that it did. And sometimes, a simple hope is all a person needs.

Adolph Eichmann

Posted in Political Stuff

ADOLF EICHMANN: - Talk about a web of deceit and gross manipulation of facts! He tried to make the world, and the British in particular, live up to the Balfour Declaration that was arranged by Jewish participants in supporting the German defeat in the first war to and all wars. The rest of the world is so politically correct and willing to blame anti-Semitism on the Germans who were willing to let the Jews go free and worked very hard to get a state of their own for them.. I think Arizona would have been a great place for them to develop a nation within a nation in the same way the Palestinians could benefit from (or the Kurds) today. Why is the world so entranced with nations and borders? Can’t we have other ways to govern efficiently such as the Economic Unions now taking power away from old archaic sovereign states founded on Divine Rights and Manifest Destiny?

Like many other Nazis including the highly sought after scientists who worked on various human guinea pigs, Eichmann made it to Argentina where the Vatican has had to admit it assisted many to escape. I hope someday people will read Benjamin Freedman and study the nature of what went on enough to know that no one side in this issue is so completely black and white as the laundered history makes it seem.

A Strategic Fifth Column

Posted in Political Stuff

A Strategic Fifth Column
by Gerald L. Campbell
Senior Advisor to the Director
United States Information Agency, 1985-1990
Washington Times (July 7, 2003)

John Quincy Adams wrote that America’s destiny was to be the “beacon on the summit of the mountain, to which all the inhabitants of the earth may turn their eyes for a genial and saving light - a light of admonition to the rulers of men, and a light of salvation and redemption to the oppressed.”

New significance has been given those words by the splendid military tactics that obliterated the Taliban, seriously degraded al Quaeda, and decapitated Saddam’s regime. To the oppressor, an ultimate warning has been issued. To the oppressed, history has given birth to a new springtime of hope.

Unlike anything that has gone before, America’s military power has demonstrated a remarkable ability to discriminate between the tyrant and the innocent. The Goddess of Justice smiles more favorably upon the oppressed. The long-suffering dream emblazoned in the hearts of our common humanity - a dream for individual dignity, human solidarity, and freedom - stands poised to blossom anew as the age-old sanctuary for despots stands more naked and vulnerable than ever.

But, to fully seize the moment, we must do more than fight a tactical war against terrorists, and their networks and state sponsors. We must also take the strategic offensive. We must summon with renewed vigor our moral resources and reaffirm our unique position in world history. America must reach out to the ‘hearts and minds’ of people around the world and transform this latest phase of the war against terrorism into a struggle for the freedom and dignity of man. Why is this so?

The tactics of the terrorists are clear. They want to damage our economic infrastructure and threaten the lives of innocent people with weapons of mass destruction. Overseas, they seek to fracture alliances and turn cultures and religions against us by marketing their ruthless nihilism as an inevitable ‘clash of civilizations.’

But strategically their aim runs much deeper. It is to spread fear and destroy freedom. They know that fear will subvert our freedoms and force us to disengage from the rest of the world. And so, this contest is essentially about the future of freedom.

But therein lies our enemy’s Achilles heel. For the best antidote to fear is freedom itself. And while terrorists must fight skulking in the shadows, America can struggle openly with words and deeds that truly resonate with the freedom and dignity of man, regardless of nationality, culture, or religion.

America has an intrinsic bond with all humanity and the transcendent cornerstone of that bond is freedom. Freedom, so regarded, is not a mere ideal or option contingent upon political consensus. It is not a commodity selfishly deduced from an utilitarian or hedonistic urge. Nor is it the product of certain cultures or religions. Freedom is existentially rooted in the human person and from that source emanates a purposeful dynamism that strives to give substance to history itself. And this common birthright has particular significance today.

For some time, international politics has been undergoing an amazing metamorphosis brought on by two historic developments. First, the global communications revolution has democratized the nature of political power on a global scale. Second, the center of gravity in international politics is moving away from the traditional elites of state-to-state relations to the existential and democratic urges of peoples and causes.

Increasingly, world public opinion is becoming a potent force capable of decisive influence over the policies and conduct of states, no matter how dictatorial or how free. The management of state-to-state relations, even though necessary, is no longer a sufficient mechanism to influence the dynamics of international politics, as the collapse of the Soviet Union and our recent experience with Turkey demonstrate. To compete in the global marketplace of ideas, we must reconstitute and reinvigorate our public diplomacy apparatus and stand solidly aligned with truth, justice, solidarity, and freedom.

Given this challenge, the issue before us is clear. The nihilistic impulse of terrorism is not on trial. It offers only hatred and defends nothing. Freedom itself is not on trial. Its promise is intertwined in the very fabric of human existence. What is on trial is the authenticity of America’s commitment to human freedom. And while we must not go abroad “seeking dragons to destroy,” as Adams cautioned, we must use the power of example to exalt peoples everywhere to move towards a new world order, an order infused with the spirit of the inalienable rights of man and the freedom of the individual. Without authenticity in this effort, battles may be won, but the ultimate contest will be lost.

So, the task ahead is not image building. Image building is unsubstantial and affronts personal dignity. Nor is the task essentially an articulation and defense of US policies. Gains made for such aims can only be superficial and short-lived. The only way to win this global contest is to build authentic relationships with peoples everywhere in their struggle to realize freedom.

To that end, America has at its disposal a strategic fifth column positioned around the world. This fifth column is made up of freedom-loving individuals who, while unorganized and undisciplined, are waiting patiently for the trumpets to call. They man their posts in every hovel, crowded apartment, or house, in every school, workplace, or center of worship, in every rural region, town, or city in every country and hemisphere of the world.

If America renews her sacred commitment to those individuals yearning for freedom, and if it keeps faith with the revolutionary potential inherent in that yearning, this fifth column - backed up by America’s economic, military, and diplomatic determination - will unleash democratic forces and processes in countries scattered about the globe that will be irresistible. And sooner than we think, the oppressors, one by one, will be vanquished.

A National Sales Tax: The Time is Now

Posted in Political Stuff

“If you elect me, Senator Katherine Laforge, as your next president, my National Sales Tax will give you back true equity in the share of taxes you pay. You will no longer be the utilitarian taxpayer for the elite.” “Hulagu’s Web - chapter 10″

The heroine in “Hulagu’s Web” is a true believer in Frank Chodorov’s compelling view that income tax is the root of all evil. Why, under our current National Income Tax system, do billions in real income earned by criminal endeavors, the underground economy and illegal aliens go totally untaxed? Why are the complexities of our tax code so onerous that only the wealthy can afford the resources, knowledge and ability to truly access expert advice on how to legally minimize their taxes? The answer to these questions is that the everyday wage earner with his passiveness, unquestioned acceptance, and fear of the taxation process has become politically impotent. His nave trust in the wisdom of his elective officials has made him the elite’s utilitarian taxpayer.
It’s time to move the proposal to implement a National Sales Tax out of the realm of political theatre and into reality. The idea bobs up and down during key election years but continues to meet stiff resistance inside the corridors of power. Clearly a vast lobby of Washington’s politicians, lawyers and accountants with special interests seem intent on declaring such a proposal “dead on arrival” before giving it a fair hearing.
However, soon that may change. No less an authority than Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan has recently endorsed a National Sales Tax. While Mr. Greenspan has been known to easily roil financial markets by his cryptic oracles on the state of the economy, his stance on a National Sales Tax rings resoundingly clear. Speaking before the President’s Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform, Mr. Greenspan said he believed that a consumption tax—such as a National Sales Tax—could spur economic growth. One of his most important arguments was that a consumption tax could lead to increased savings. The reason for this is obvious. If, instead of taxing income, the government taxes spending—then consumers will think twice about what they spend their money on.
Greenspan made it clear that completely eliminating the current income tax with a consumption tax would meet with tremendous opposition and involve a great deal of complex transitional issues. It’s also clear that the loopholes in the current, convoluted tax system continue to benefit the elite and industries. The proposal for a National Sales Tax is part of the President’s push for a complete overhaul of the tax system, a pledge he made in his re-election campaign. It’s clear that no idea is off the table, and this one certainly has a long pedigree. Mr. Greenspan noted that the National Sales Tax was considered back in 1986, but reformers instead chose the more politically cautious approach of working to “overhaul” the current system instead.
So much for “overhauling”—the current tax code is substantially more complicated and confusing now than it was then. The National Retail Sales Tax Alliance, which supports the complete abolition of our current income tax system, gives some key figures that illustrate how complex the system has become. They point out that in the year 2000, the 1040 form alone was 70 lines long, with 117 pages of instructions. Americans spend nearly two hundred billion dollars a year in filing their taxes. The current push for an “overhaul” should do more than simply tiptoe around the elephant in the living room. It should strike a dagger into the heart of this burdensome behemoth once and for all. The current tax system has made liars out of many otherwise decent, hard-working Americans, while providing endless shelters and loopholes for the elite and wealthy.
A National Sales Tax is a more equitable proposal, and would bring in greater revenue streams. Everyone who buys goods or services would pay taxes. Unlike the current system where illegal aliens can dodge their taxes by carrying on business under the table, nobody would be exempt from a National Sales Tax. This includes everyone from the honest workers to hardened criminals or drug traffickers. With the acceptance of a National Sales Tax, endless man-hours and millions of dollars otherwise spent in “audits” would be saved. The chance of property confiscation for improperly paying taxes or going to prison for tax fraud would be alleviated or at least greatly reduced. A National Sales Tax will bring many denizens back into our society as productive members and true citizens of our country.
Our politicians and leaders should not underestimate the great groundswell of support that exists for eliminating the current income tax and replacing it with a National Sales Tax. Nothing taps this nation’s populist impulses like opposition to the tyranny of taxation. Whether it’s the Boston Tea Party, or grassroots organizations like the National Retail Sales Tax Alliance, Americans have always rallied against an unjustly oppressive tax burden.
The idea of streamlining the current tax system, of course, has always been popular with many citizens. Americans should continue to vote and voice their opinions on the matter. It seems that all of our leaders are finally getting the message: the President, the Federal Reserve Chairman and elected officials.
In the political thriller, “Hulagu’s Web: The Presidential Pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge” (http://www.hulagusweb.com), the charismatic Senator Laforge openly embraces a National Sales Tax as part of her political platform. One of her supporters asks her an important question.
“How much will that add to everything we buy?”
“It probably will be around 14 to 17 percent,” replies Senator Laforge. “At first glance that might sound high to you but remember, no federal tax will be taken out of your pay, so your check will be much higher.”
“Well, if you win, it will be like a revolution here in America,” she is later told.
Indeed, it would be like a revolution.
Critics point out that eliminating the current income tax system would require repealing the 16th Amendment. That is an obstacle but its repeal should not be that difficult. Amendments have been repealed before. For example, the 18th amendment was repealed by the 21st Amendment. The infamous 16th Amendment reads: “The congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, had already proposed such a repeal a few years ago.
In short, if the utilitarian taxpayers for the elite would just stand up and make their plight known to their representatives, the politicians would take note and likely accept the will of the people. Clearly, only a popular ground swell of the voting public can change this broken tax system. By putting government representatives on notice that their honeymoon with a National Income Tax is no longer acceptable, we can hopefully unburden ourselves with the intrusive, regressive and oppressive Income Tax system of today.
“If the elite and publicity seeking celebrities can muster thousands in favor of Income Tax, then you, the hard working unrepresented taxpayers must come out in droves to create the million man march for the repeal of the 16th amendment and freedom from the yoke of taxation slavery.” “Hulagu’s Web Chapter 10″
Let these words from Senator LaForge be the marching orders for every American committed to a fair system of taxation under a National Sales Tax. Frank Chodorov’s book, “The Income Tax: Root of All Evil,” can be downloaded for free off the Internet and should be required reading for all of us.
