Smile

One of the worst things that can happen is getting pulled over for going through red lights. Now I know that you just shouldn’t go blasting through a red light, you could kill some body, or hit a car. But what are you supposed to do when you are almost at the light and it starts to turn yellow. You have an important decision to make. Do you speed up and try to make it through the light, or slam on your brakes and stop. Bad things can happen in either case. If you make the decision to speed up and make it though the light, chances are slim that you could hit somebody who got the jump on their green light. But you also face the fact that you could get a ticket for going through the red light. If you choose to slam on the brakes you run the risk of the person behind you slamming right into your car. Now whose fault is that? What if the guy behind him, slams into him? It would be far better to just go through the light. Either one is not an ideal solution.

Now you have to worry about a camera taking you picture if you are in the middle of the intersection when the light turns red. It’s not fair. It should be the judgments of a human make the decision on when to stop and when to go. The camera does not know the circumstance. Some intersections are really long and it takes longer for you to get through the intersection. I just think that if you don’t get caught going through a red light, and nobody gets harmed, then it should be ok.
