Ms. Hunt lost her job and suffered injuries due to the negligence of the care home says Mr. David Thompson of Thompsons solicitors. He says that the care home did not assess the risks she could face from the violent patients and neither did they train her to face such risks. He says that the patient should have been shifted to a suitably secure care home or hospital and that the mistakes made by Swan House had cost Ms. Hunt her job. This case was taken to the court and Ms. Hunt was awarded £12,500 in damages in an out of court settlement.
